Valerio Giacomelli

Entrepreneur, builder, exit founder, and investor.

I build companies, software products, and long-term assets.

About

Originally from Ferrara, Italy, I have fifteen-plus years in digital, as an entrepreneur and serial founder of companies and products.

I founded Syncronika, based in Milan, Italy: since 2010 it has worked across strategy, branding, digital marketing, web development, and platforms; today it focuses on process automation, AI, and system integration.

For over fifteen years I led Syncronika, working with brands such as Plenitude, Sebach, Caffitaly, FSI, FAAC, Bayer, and many others.

I founded Syncrogest, a SaaS platform for managing technical support, which was acquired by Tweppy S.p.A. in 2024.

In parallel I built a multimillion-euro residential real estate portfolio, primarily in Milan, Italy, through leveraged investments, a long-term horizon, and a disciplined, ambitious strategy.

Today I focus on creating products, processes, and companies designed to evolve over time and deliver real value, not only short-term results.

I am passionate about automations and artificial intelligence applied to the business world.

AgenVIO is one of the places where I pursue that focus.

I co-founded Complyo, a compliance technology company that combines advisory and a platform to help organisations improve how they manage regulatory frameworks, including NIS2, ISO 27001, DORA, and ICS (Internal Control System).

I bias toward systems, clarity, and decisions that still read well years later.

I am obsessed and fanatical about the gym, physical movement, and combat sports, including muay thai and kickboxing; biohacking, longevity, and health are a concrete part of how I live, and I care deeply about good, natural food. I like reading technical books on new technologies, entrepreneur biographies, personal finance, and personal growth. I love nature and cats: to me, they are perfect animals. I love travelling and spending months abroad discovering new places and cultures.

Agentic coding: why AGENTS.md should stay lean

If you use coding agents seriously, the first move is not to fill AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md. Treat them as an index and distribute rules and procedures where they belong.

When everyone can produce: what's still scarce in digital

AI lowers production costs and barriers to entry. In digital work, what really matters boils down to three levers: distribution, reputation, and the ability to orchestrate systems and people.

Philosophy

From services to software to assets, my work has always been about building leverage.

Long horizons beat short headlines: I optimise for decisions that still make sense when re-read years later.

Scalability matters through product, distribution, and capital structure, not through volume of noise.

Credibility is cumulative: small, consistent actions compound into trust.

Presence

I am based in Milan, Italy. I travel often, not only for work but for pleasure, so I am frequently on the move internationally.

I spend much of my time across my preferred bases: the Costa del Sol (Andalusia, Spain), Cape Town (South Africa), Dubai (UAE), and, of course, Milan.

I am also a real estate investor: most of my properties are in Milan, Italy; the remainder are across those same preferred bases.
